Miscellaneous subject files of the policy staff of Governor Tommy Thompson. The files consist of clippings, background information, correspondence and occasional drafts of letters prepared for the governor's signature, e-mail printouts, and policy memos. Thompson himself is only infrequently evident. The files represent the work of both senior and policy staff, but probably represent only a portion of all such files that once existed; these files were found in the Capitol when Thompson's successor, Governor Scott McCallum, left office. Files maintained by the governor's chiefs of staff are limited, and Scott Jensen and Christopher Mohrman are virtually undocumented.
